Colour and matte PPF
Satin, matte or coloured protection film. The car takes a new finish, the factory paint stays untouched underneath, and it all comes off cleanly when you want it back.
What it is
Colour and matte PPF is protection film with a finish built in. A matte or satin film turns gloss paint flat; a coloured film changes the colour of the car. Either way you get the chip and scratch protection of PPF.
Unlike a vinyl wrap, it is the same thick, self-healing urethane as clear film, so it protects as well as it changes the look. Unlike a respray, the factory paint underneath is untouched and the change can be reversed.

How the job runs
Inspection
The car is logged, inspected and photographed. We check the paint is sound enough to take film and to release it cleanly later.
Finish choice
You see the film in daylight on a real panel before anything is ordered, because matte and coloured films look different outdoors.
Preparation
Wash, decontamination and correction where the paint needs it. On a colour change, door shuts and edges are planned before fitting.
Fitting
Film is laid panel by panel with edges wrapped. Trim, badges and lights come off where that gives a cleaner result.
Quality check and handover
Every panel is checked under the light for texture and alignment, then we walk the car with you.
What goes on the car
Matte and colour films come from Refyned's NOVA specialty range, fitted by its exclusive installer for South Delhi and Gurgaon. Matte and colour lines from SupremeX, Garware, UltraGuard and Avery Dennison can be fitted on request; your estimate names the exact film.

Options
Aftercare
- No washing for the first week.
- Use a matte-safe shampoo; never wax or polish a matte finish.
- Avoid automatic car washes.
- Clean bird droppings and fuel spills off quickly; matte finishes can stain.
What it will not do
- A visible change of colour has to be recorded on your RC. Clear film and same-colour finishes do not.
- Matte film cannot be polished to remove a stain the way gloss can.
- Door shuts and inner edges are extra work and are quoted separately.

Is a colour change legal in India?
Yes, but a visible change of colour must be endorsed on your registration certificate at the RTO. A matte film in the same colour as the car, or a clear film, needs no change. We will tell you before you choose a finish if it needs an endorsement.
How is this different from a vinyl wrap?
Colour PPF is thicker, self-healing urethane, so it protects against chips as well as changing the colour. Vinyl is thinner and mainly cosmetic. Vinyl offers more colours and effects; colour PPF offers protection.
Can matte PPF go back to gloss?
Yes. The film comes off and the gloss paint underneath is as it was on the day it was covered.
I already have matte paint. Should I protect it?
Matte paint cannot be polished, so a scratch or a stain is often a repaint. A matte film over it keeps the finish and takes the damage instead.
