Paint and bodyshop

From a minor dent to a full respray, done in our own booth, with the colour matched to the paint code.

Technician spraying a panel in the paint booth

What it is

Bodyshop work puts the shape and the finish of the car right: dents, scrapes and panel damage repaired, panels refinished in the booth, and the colour matched to the car's paint code so the repair disappears.

It also covers bigger jobs: full resprays and colour changes, restoration of older cars, and alloy wheel and brake caliper refinishing.

Peelable paint is the reversible option: a sprayed finish in almost any colour that can be peeled off later.

Who it is for

  • Accident, scrape and dent repairs
  • Resprays and full colour changes
  • Older cars being restored
  • Wheels and calipers that need refinishing

How the job runs

  1. Inspection and estimate

The damage is assessed, photographed and itemised panel by panel, and you approve the estimate from your tracking link.

  2. Repair

Dents are pulled or panels repaired; parts that cannot be saved are replaced.

  3. Preparation

Filler where it is needed, then primer and blocking until the panel is flat.

  4. Paint

Base coat and clear coat are sprayed in the booth, matched to the paint code and checked against the car.

  5. Finishing

Once cured, the paint is polished so the repaired panel matches the gloss of the rest.

  6. Check and handover

Colour, gloss and gaps are checked under the light and in daylight.

What goes on the car

We name the exact product, its specification and its warranty in writing on your estimate, so you know what is going on the car before you approve the work.

Aftercare

  • Fresh paint needs time to harden. Do not wax or coat for the period we give you.
  • Hand wash only for the first few weeks.
  • Film or a coating over new paint keeps it looking new.

What it will not do

  • A full colour change must be recorded on your RC at the RTO.
  • Very old or faded paint can be hard to match exactly; we blend into neighbouring panels where needed.
  • Peelable paint is not as durable as a permanent respray.

Questions

Paint and bodyshop, asked and answered.

Will the repaired panel match the rest of the car?

The paint is mixed to the car's paint code, then checked against the car and adjusted. Where the existing paint has aged, we blend into the neighbouring panels so there is no visible edge.

What is peelable paint?

A sprayed finish that can be peeled off cleanly later, so you can change colour without committing to a respray. It suits owners who want a new look for a while. It is less durable than permanent paint.

Do you do full resprays?

Yes, from single panels to complete resprays and colour changes, in our own booth.

Can you refinish my alloy wheels?

Yes. Wheels and brake calipers are prepared and painted in the booth in the colour and finish you choose.
