Vinyl wraps
A complete colour change without touching the factory paint. Cast vinyl laid into every curve, edge and recess, with roof, bonnet and trim options too.
What it is
A vinyl wrap is a thin, cast film applied over the paint to change the colour or finish of the car. Gloss, satin, matte, metallic, colour-shift and chrome are all possible, on the whole car or just parts of it.
It is reversible: the wrap peels off and the factory paint underneath is as it was. It also shields the paint from UV and light marks, although it is not as protective as PPF.

How the job runs
Colour and finish
You choose from real samples in daylight. We tell you which finishes suit your car's shape.
Preparation
Wash, decontamination and a final wipe. Lights, handles, badges and trim come off where that gives a cleaner edge.
Wrapping
Film is laid panel by panel, worked into recesses and wrapped around edges so the old colour does not show.
Post-heating
Stretched areas are heated so the film holds its shape and does not lift.
Check and handover
Edges, seams and recesses are checked under the light, and the car rests before handover.
What goes on the car
We name the exact product, its specification and its warranty in writing on your estimate, so you know what is going on the car before you approve the work.
Options
Aftercare
- No washing for the first week.
- Hand wash only; no automatic brush washes.
- Keep pressure washers away from edges and seams.
- Use shampoos made for wraps; never polish matte or satin film.
What it will not do
- A visible colour change must be recorded on your RC at the RTO.
- Vinyl protects against UV and light marks, not stone chips. For that, see colour PPF.
- Paint that has been badly resprayed can lift when the wrap comes off.

Is wrapping a car legal in India?
Yes, but a visible change of colour has to be endorsed on your registration certificate at the RTO. Accent wraps such as a black roof are usually treated differently from a full colour change; we will talk it through before you choose.
Will a wrap damage my paint?
Not on healthy factory paint. Quality cast vinyl peels off cleanly. Repainted panels with poor adhesion can lift when a wrap is removed, which is why we inspect the paint first.
Wrap or colour PPF?
Vinyl offers more colours and effects and costs less. Colour PPF is thicker, self-healing and protects against chips. If protection matters as much as colour, choose PPF.
How long does a wrap last?
Cast vinyl from a good brand typically lasts several years on vertical panels, less on the roof and bonnet, which take the most sun. Your quote gives the figure for the film you choose.
