Protection and detailing
The Huracán came in for protection and detailing. Its nose sits low and meets whatever the road throws up before anything else does, and black paint shows every mark it collects. The aim was a finish that looks right under the workshop lights and stays protected once the car is back on Delhi roads.
Black paint shows swirls, water spots and fine wash marks more than any other colour. So the car was detailed first and protected after, because film and coatings seal in whatever is on the surface beneath them. That order does not change from car to car, whatever the badge on the bonnet.
